My career included work as a newspaper journalist and attorney before I joined the staff of the Mississippi Bankers Association. I retired from the MBA as its longest serving president in 1999. Upon my retirement, I joined the Bob Tompkins Studio. In 2023, I was was accepted as a member of the Miss. Oil Painters Association (MOPA). I reside in Ridgeland with my wife, Susan.
